Your T2 may be defective. I had one on Thursday that was purchased in July 2001 and had about a 5 foot IR range. I called my distributor and asked my rep if he had heard of such a problem. He explained that RTI had a bad batch of remotes in July or August and to exhange it. The new one works just fine.
