Just finished another T2 hot rod installation on Wednesday. I just stuck the hi gain ANT right on to the BNC panel mount jack I installed on the IRF-6 {no cable at all} and stuck the whole thing in the back of the equipment rack, I am getting about 95%, even with complicated macros.
The new remotes have an band of epoxy that they added between the LCD board and the Keypad board, really stiffens up the remote, feels more solid, works great.
