After many happy years of reliable command executions from my T2, I recently replaced my Digital Cable Box and seperate Phillip TiVo players with an integrated DirecTv/TiVo unit (Sony SAT-T60). I thought that this would make channel changing and macro execution even more reliable since the DirecTv receiver and Tivo are in one integrated unit. I was wrong. After, programming all the buttons from the Sony to the T2, I created Macros for channel changing (e.g., HBO = 5,5,0,enter), however, when the Macro is executed, the channel number frequently drop one of the three digits. I am using the IRF-6 unit via RF and IR blaster pasted to the Sony infrared window. I even used black tape to mask the Sony IR window. What do you think I should do next. Should I (1) increase the Output Gain on the IRF-6 unit (2) increase the number of IR repeats for each command (3) re-learn all the IR codes for each number????
Life was so easy before, and Now............
Thanks.......Joe.
