A follow up on this problem. The T2 tech service suggested a Xantech universal module. 794-10 with its separate power supply. Then set the codes to Marantz from the Xantech manual. This will generate RC5 codes that the Arcam DV27 recognizes. Also, the Arcam setup menu has a remote choice. If you are using a remote that is not Arcam, you must select "other" in this setup menu.
