I would guess that my problem is just my IRF-6
but since it is intermittent what if it is interference
from something else in my house??
This is a common and well know problem, and can be fixed very easily by modifying the IRF-6.
RTI has no in house repair for this problem yet, but I am sending them information on how to do the repair.
You can do the modification yourself, if you are savvy with a soldering pencil, or if you are not, I can do it for you. Actually I am on modification version 3 which is a little more complicated to perform than the previous upgrades. Just send me an e-mail for the details.
