Hi, what exactly are you trying to do? I have the Pioneer Elite 56txi connected to the RP6 using the Serial connection. Initially, I did what you are tying to do with the 1/8 jack, but there is more flexibility using the Serial connection. I have the manual for the Pioneer Elite 56txi or you could download them from Pioneer's site. Let me know if you need that information and I could dig it up.

Works flawlessly with the Serial connection, just remember you need a null-modem cable which was the most difficult part. Had to finally order it from the US after searching for a week in Canada.
