another way to do it is with RP-6's: assign each port of an RP-6 to a separate zone: wire each output port to its repective zone input connector
this is how I am setting up an Elan HD system: adding RTI touchpads in place of Elan Z Pads: the system has 10 zones so I use two RP-6's
