Aren't the T2s available through wider distribution than the T2+, which is only available through dealers?

If I heard the story right, a big part of the reason for the limitation of T2+ distribution was the amount of whoring out done to the T2, and to be sure that RTI was not inundated with HELP calls from consumers who couldn't figure out how to do the programming...so shouldn't the T2 battery be available more easily?

I would look up RTI on the internet and drop them an email. I'd also look up the batteries on ebay, but I just realized you have no kind of guarantee that a battery for sale on ebay will be any newer than the ones you have, so caveat emptor.
