If he was completely lost, you might consider a new dealer. It sounds like basically you are just trying to send IR codes to trigger macros built into your control processor. If this is correct, what you want is fairly easy.

The software is a little different. Dealers are not supposed to give this out. If you do get it, it sounds like you might have the knowledge to do it yourself. The problem will probably be getting the IR-PRO. It is almost as hard to get as the software. Who knows, maybe he will sell you one of these.

If all macros and commands are truly stored in your current control processor, I think all you would need to get RF would be the RP1. Significantly cheaper if you do not need the additional features of rp6.

Like I mentioned. If there are other dealers in your area, give one of them a shot.
