1. The new CTs have Ethernet jacks. Has anyone used
these for control? About the ability to send programming
to the units over the network? ANy issues? ie if the
network flakes out, do the CTs freeze or hang etc?

I don't think the IP control/programming is available yet.

2. Wouldn't it be nice if you could share ONE tuner (or
THREE) between multiple CTs? Obviously, we could just
throw in an outboard tuner....

Why? I think one of the great features is that you get 3 tuners. The wife can be in the bathroom listing to radio station A, the dad can be on the back deck listening to radio station B, and the kids can be in the bonus room listeing to radio station C. If you want just make the presets the same on all 3 units and just send a command to go to that preset.

Overall, everything seems to be working (so far).... but
certainly not the easiest 18 zone system I've put together.

It was the easiest 12 zone system I have done. Like I said, except for some issues that were related to RTI and JVC, the B&K worked great. Sound is incredible, and the client is very happy.

I'm using 1 CM232 for EACH CT and 1 for the HD6. Its
sorta too bad that you can send RS232 commands to ONE
CT and have it 'reach' all of the CT units. (unless
I'm missing something, this is only possible with IR)

This is one of the reasons I choose IR over RS232.
Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
