we have had similar problems with T3's and Rp1's and have found that the RF range depends also on the antenna's proximity to the gear. the farther we move the rp1 away from the gear in the head end the better the range gets. Also we have found that it is not a good idea to mount any antenna, rm433 or otherwise, behind a plasma. i suppose the electrical fields interfere . Hope that helps
