It's odd how people perceive things differently. The window in the ecovery Wizard has a window at the left and the "Receive File" box at the right. Since I do speak English and read things from left to right, I ASS UMED that I wouldn't be able to click the "Receive File" box until the remote was recognized, its name entered by the computer into the box at the left, and I clicked on its name. Oh, no! Instead, you click on the Receive File box (which has an arrow showing left to right motion), and after uploading, the name of the file or the device shows up on the left. How utterly confusing. I suppose I can remember this for the next time. Better yet -- Pfroepfer. There ya go. German for "corks." All I have to do is search the forums for that word next time!
