create a more direct connection (ie always present communication)

You are still a few steps ahead of me. I have never programmed in flash, but I am great at "Programming in Theory".
I am actually trying to decide if I should take up java or flash as my next programming language. Flash may become really useful for RTI, but Java is already useful for AMX...
