Create a macro on the Volume button. Within the TT software is a command that says Repeat while button is pressed... or something like that (I don't have my laptop open). Put the volume command in the bracket and away you go. I'm not sure why, but all the Rotel peices require you to do it this way (when using the front IR window).

Use the code set for the RSP1068 that Rotel has on their site. I know they are solid.

ALSO: If the 1057 has an option in the menu for "Volume Speed" set it at Medium or Fast.
