I have just started looking at the RTI keypads and when
they are engraved and all fixed up, I will have say it
is very impressive look. What parts are involved in a
typical system to control RadioRa or say UPB?

I can not speak for UBP but RA and the RK1s can be used very easily.

Could a processor handle a house full of keypads?

Connect the RK1 to the CB4 and the CB4 to the RP6. I believe this configuration would allow 8 RK1s (4 on the ports from the CB4 and 4 from the slave output of the RK1s themselves). This would be scale able by adding more CB4 to the system.

What physcial connections are made at each keypad?

Cat5/RJ45

I would assume with upb that you would just use 232 to CIM to fire links confingured
with Upstart? but how do the keypads communicate to the
processor?

Can not speak for UBP

How is it configured with RadioRA?

CM232 to RA-232 module

Could you remote the RA switches and have RTI keypads on the wall
through the whole house? Thanks for any comments.

Maybe with carefull planning but I personally would be looking at a diffrent product, hardwire solution, if this is going to be a new build
