I used to do work for an Elite dealer but that was a long time ago. Wasn't bad stuff at all.
As for the Marantz stuff... CONTROLLABLE!!! That is why the dealers around here use it.
As for the 1.3 HDMI thing. In this area the friggen cable boxes still won't pass without a switch from Audio Authority. (Nod to Trent)
Our blu-ray at the office locked up on the Good Sheppard DVD. Put in the Panasonic and it plays fine. Just another of the many reasons we can't really just get into Blu-ray or HDDVD and go with it. I mean with HDDVD you get Toshiba which is ususally quirky with tge whole on off thing. Then you get Blu with Sammy who can't get on off or play pause figured out. Panasonic just started doing 24 frames... but then I had Sony. Usually the thing I can count on the at least be controllable... seems the PS3 is a better player...
