I saw this new remote on the CEDIA Expo 2007 video. I have been looking for a hand held remote that would replace my table-full of remotes. I also want one that would use RF as my equipment is behind cabinet doors. And finally, I want a remote that the macros work EVERY TIME (very important). From what I understand, this would require an RF base station that communicates with my equipment via IR and RS232 (my receiver is a Denon 3808, and has a serial port).

From what I have learned, RS232 is a complicated affair and I would prefer to have the remote professionally programmed so that it works correctly every time.

So now my question:

Does the MSRP of $699 include programming, or is that additional?
