I've found my customers like the scrolling lists better than a bunch of pages with buttons. The scrolling list adds a "Cool Factor" that customers really appreciate. With sources such as XM, you may consider breaking down the list into sections, or favorites for different users (eg. page 1=all channels, page 2=his favories, page 3=her favorites...)
