I just got the RTI T2-C and love it but I can't expect to rely on my dealer to upgrade the program every time I want to make a little tweak.
I'm used to programming prontos and I can't imagine the theatertouch software is so difficult that I can't figure it out. I called technical support and they said there was NO WAY any non-dealers could get a hold of the software. They wont even sell it to non-dealers.
My question is this... Why should I spend $1000 on a remote and not expect to be able to work on it myself? Seems like a dealbreaker to me.
Anyone have any success getting the software from RTI? I have a call in to one of their senior guys but haven't heard anything yet.
