For anyone who is interested I have done some research on prices and availibility of the MX-1000 remote. It seems that very few companies actually have it available, with most of them saying it is on backorder for 2-3 weeks. I have found the remote for sale from $229 to $279. If your interested in the companies I have contacted send me an e-mail and I'll fill you in. I am not selling anything, but I wasn't sure if this forum is the right place to list competing vendors. I have ordered mine and I am really looking forward to giving it a try.
