I designed and downloaded my own pages for my MX-1000. I then proceeded to program the buttons using the learning mode. Most of the buttons take the new command but some do not. Here is what happens. For instance, I program the PIP function and all its associated buttons on the remote. I then try it and the PIP and STILL button both have the PIP function. The PIP button turns PIP on and off but the STILL button does also. The STILL button is not performing the STILL function. Why is the STILL button learning the PIP function? This only happens on some buttons and is very frustrating. I also think the program is very crude.. If I cant get this problem figured out soon the remote is out of here!!

I read something in the thread titled "Copying menu screen from one device to another" that alluded to this phenomenon. I think I am ending up with 2 buttons assigned to the same "position", Rene talked about this occuring. He stated: "After you learn a command to this button the other one got the same learned command assigned." This is exactly what i am seeing. In the above axample I do program the STILL button first and then the PIP button.
