1) I didn't have those problems -- but what exactly are you learning for codes such as "Video 2"? I've never known a Sony TV remote to come with those directly. If it's one of those dual-button assignments, I think you'll need to use the Duck Blind method (as described on this site in the Features / Tips & Tricks section).
