I hope I'm not using up my quota of posts here... ;-)

I'm having some real problems with my remote that I'm wondering if anyone else has seen.

1) My remote won't learn virtually any of the codes from my Sony TV remote, save the power button. The TV, video1, video2, video3 won't work. volume up won't work. strangely the channel up/down appears to be trying to send the "video3" code. This is similar to problems I had with learning TiVo codes (in previous thread) but to a much greater extent.

2) Downloading program from PC to remote works great. But When I try to upload the learned codes from the remote to the PC it fails every time. Same connection, same session; one works one does not.

Any help here?
