I'm also thinking of getting the SL-9000 and also noticed that's there are two versions. The picture on the remote central website shows those buttons as surround and center channel. I found another picture of the SL-9000 with those buttons shown as inputs, at
the smarthome website. What's the purpose of these additional input buttons? It seem redundant to have two
sets of input buttons, one set at the top of the remote and one set at the bottom.
