I am looking forward to playing with this software. I really want to create an activity based remote so I am evaluating the software from that perspective. I look forward to hearing what some of the more experienced programmers think of this software.

On to a question re discrete codes:

It appears that you can not import discrete codes. Am I reading this correctly? Page 21 of the manual:

Using the Universal Browser Window
you can import LEARNED IR codes from a .ccf file. You cannot import generated RC5, Database or generated NEC codes, only LEARNED codes.

So what if a discrete code is not available in the IR Database and you can not generate it from a remote? Are you out of luck?
