I started with Libra, mainly for my music. I could make it go to the folder where the music album was ripped to with a single click, then pick a song or play the whole album from there. I haven't yet figured out how to make it do the same thing with DVD files, so I moved on to MyMovies which works within Windows Media Center, and also found out how to enable Vista's Media Center to have a it's own DVD Library option. Both find and display cover art and movie data. I'll never hand load a DVD into a DVD deck again now that I can quickly search and sort and simply click on the movie I want to play it off my hard drive though my Living room or bedroom large LCD HDTVs.
