I don't believe there are any discretes for the
resolution settings. You likely need to use macros
to switch between the settings you want, including
enough "Up" button pushes in each to get to the
desired setting. This would be easier with one
of the other MX or URC series remotes which allow
for macros on any LCD button. With the MX-500,
you'd probably want to use one of the "M" buttons.

I thought about that but the number of "ups" depends on where you are now... but I guess I could assume I am always in 720P and 480i would be 3 ups away from there... then it is 3 ups to get back... Thanks for the reply... I know this must get asked a lot... I searched and didn't find anything with a solution so I thought it best to just ask again...
