I too have to say over all the years of using URC remotes, I have had few problems. RF is great, very few defective units most returns are because of abuse. I also try to make mine not work in my home and I can't. I can be 210 feet outside my living room window and operate my equipment.
I use 800, 900, 3000 and all are great!
