Yes. If you get the MRF-300 you can assign in programming which device gets IR output and which gets RF. So you could continue to use your existing IR systems for the other devices, install the mrf-300 for the cable boxes, change the programming such that the cable box devices only output RF, setup your channel ID, assign the ir ports for each cable box (do not use all) and you should be good to go as long as your codes are fine from the beginning via IR. Now would be a good time to check this, once everything is solid, insert the mrf-300 into the system for the cable boxes.
