Thx for the info. I'm in no rush. Heck, lol not even sure I'll be able to afford a TX-1000 when it is available. :)

What they need to do is make a remote identical to the MX-900 that uses AA batteries (lasts longer than AAA) and with the option to choose wether to activate the backlight with the press of any button on the face of the remote (like the 950 can) OR by using the backlight button. I can dream can't I? :D
