Dish recievers are notorious for having problems with control because of IR over-saturation and RF interference. Are you using an MRF-300 (or 250)? If so, you may need to try moving it away from the sat reciever. Use the IR level attenuators on the MRF to lower the intensity level of the IR emitter. If that doesn't work, I find that placing the emitter to the side of the IR reciever window on the sat reciever will thin out the IR blast enough to work smoothly. Also try placing the emitter on the shelf in front of the sat box. Play with position of the emitter until you get it right- it can be a pain in the ass! Also uncheck the "REPEAT WHILE BUTTON IS PRESSED" box in the IR Data box of the editor software to prevent duplicate commands.
Good luck! adam
