Alec,

If the remote said "GOOD" when attempting to learn through the PC, try learning manually. To do this, press and hold Main and Ent together for 10 second, until you get to the setup menu on the MX-800, then just follow the LCD button choices to learn the commands without the PC. Sometimes this has a different result than learning through the PC. If it does work, don't forget to upload your new program from the remote to the PC and save it. :)
