Actually, I barely understand the MX-850 editor well enough to blunder through simple tasks myself. I was describing what I did step by step because I DON'T understand the significance of any difference between what I did and what you did, not because I do.

My expertise is in the IR signals, not in the MX-850 nor its editor. I'm glad you got it to work, but I can't explain why what you did earlier with ID#7 didn't work. I would have expected that to work.
