One other item to note about the TU-HDS20. So far there does not seem to be any discrete codes for this unit. Just the toggle on/off with sucessive button pushes on the remote. In addition, you can NOT set the output mode, (720p, 1080i, native, etc.) from the remote, or at least there is no documentation on any remote key sequence to change the output.

Without a discrete power command it is not easy to power the unit off and back on with the rest of the system, (without some monitor that can detect power state and react as appropriate). This has a couple of negatives, 1) the fan noise is ALWAYS present, and 2) since the loss of all Guide knowledge appears to be corrected by a power reset, it would probably eliminate the nuisance of loosing the Guide data if the unit was powered off and back on with the rest of the system.
