Tyler it works like this:

With a single receiver per LNB output, the receiver passes one voltage or the other to the LNB, depending upon even or odd channel number.

The multi-switch permanently sets one LNB to evens, and the other to odds. Then each receiver is switched to one LNB or the other (within the multi-switch), depending upon the channel selected.

The antenna input is simply "piggy-backed" on all outputs, like a diplexer does, so a diplexer can "extract" the antenna signal at any output.
