OK Thanks a lot for the info Jerry, I guess I dont get any local channels in HD, now anyway. I have the channel guide with me, and the only HD channels I can get are HBO and Showtime which I have not signed up to get anyway...

I keep seeing a local channel WXII (Winston-Salem NC) advertising "the first local channel broadcasted in HD" so I though maybe it would be the same channel, not a seperate channel as you noted that would be in HD..

I knew there was not extra charge to get the HD reciever put in so I said "what the hell go nothin to lose"!!!! I hope in the future, which they probably will, is add more HD channels so I can take advantage of my HDTV...
