Here's a crazy thought: change dishes and dish locations. The dish does not have to be where I usually see it, up on the highest peak of the roof, stretching out like some digital arm trying to actually touch the satellites...and incidentally being a dandy lightning attractor.
You could actually put it on the ground if there will never be a bush (or a dog) standing between it and the satellites! Or on the side of the house. I put one on the inside wall of an enclosure holding pool filters and pumps and stuff, about 20" off the ground, and it worked great. Or just somewhere else! Then you can run four wires down from it, although a few months ago we started talking about installing six for our clients, and we might start doing that soon.
