Alright, so I purchased the RCU811 remote, but I am less than satisfied...

Due to the "Punch Through" feature (which cannot be disabled), I am unable to control the DVR Transport features. Unfortunately, Jim's advice above doesn't work, as the remote punches through to DVD/VCR, even if you teach different functions to the buttons in CBL mode.

Also, the automatic punch through defaults volume controls to the TV, which doesn't help me since I use my Stereo for all audio on my entertainment system.

So, back to my original post:

1) Does anyone have a Scientific Atlanta AT8550 (5 device) Remote that they would be willing to "lose?" Unfortunately, my cable provider (Brighthouse Networks) doesn't carry this remote and no other cable company will sell one to me, since I'm not a subscriber. I'd be happy to reimburse you for your 'replacement'...

2) Any other suggestions for a third-party remote that either has a "A", "B", and "C" buttons or a minimum of three customizable, learning keys which could be used for these vital controls?
