Aron, I use an inexpensive RCA RCU807 universal remote in my bedroom system that I picked up at Best Buy for less than $30.00.
It takes care of my TV , Denon integrated amp, Pansonic DVD, Sony VCR and the SA 8000. It does not have the "A" , "B", and "C" buttons but it does have 3 learning buttons that I use for the those buttons.
It was pretty quick easy to set up and teach the required commands and even supports simple macros.
It doesn't do everything the original remotes do but 98% of the time it is the only one I need.
