It just took a while to find the sweat spot in

in HD.

I've read a couple of reports about problems with indoor antennas in the GTA, adding the 10db amp might be the answer.
I too am looking forward to HDTV Hockey Night in Canada. But "Go HDTV Leafs Go!" doesn't sound quite right. :->
