HDMI (and most DVI) devices will not output a digital signal if they cannot negotiate an HDCP connection, which has to do with copy protection.
After a search it seems that the HLN467 has a DVI-HDTV interface, which is HDCP compliant. But I can't tell from your original post - is this a situation where "they say this won't work but I haven't tried yet" or "this isn't working and this is what they said is the reason"?
