recently added (2) new cable boxes (now for total of 3) to home...purchased (2) sets of rf-link 5.8 ghz wireless transmitter/receiver pairs so that i didn't have to run cables thru house...video and audio are great...problem is with IR remote control...these rf-link pairs convert IR to UHF (i think)...have no problem with receiving IR signal at cable box, but either of the remotes causes both cable boxes to change channels...rf-link sets have 4 channel capacity...have tried one of the rf-link pairs on channel 1 and the other on channel 4, but still have crosstalk...would like for cable boxes to be controlled independently of each other....have contacted cable company and they say that they can't help...was wondering if cable boxes and remotes can be reprogrammed with different codes...any suggestions?
