Wire your house with two coax cables to each outlet. Also, run 5 coax cables from the service entry to the common location of your home runs.
This will prepare you for either satellite or CATV or a combination of both in the future.
Since CATV is not available it looks like the decision is between DirecTV and Dish Network. I myself prefer DirecTV. DirecTV is going to go to a "leasing" system, similar to CATV. This will further decrease the cost of the initial investment to DirecTV.
