Hmmm....now back to the point of the thread:

I have the BR30 Panasonic and love it but, remember, it won't decode advanced audio internally. My Onkyo 805 receiver handles the audio so it's not a problem for me but if you need internal decoding forget the BR30.

As for glitches? I've experienced none at all. It's played everything I've thrown at it without a flaw and the video is as good as it gets on my Sony 60A3000 RP.

Be aware that my A20 HD DVD player does a better job of upscaling standard DVDs and it's a noticable difference.
