I just bought a DHG-HDD500 DVR , when the unit is shut off, the hard drive keeps on running this puts a lot of unnecessary wear and tear on drive. Can you tell me if there is a way to shut down the hard drive when it is not being used ? or did I miss something in the instruction manual ?
