No, that is what he said in the quote which you said. Until Rogers supports Cable Cards (Which I find funny that they have the Rogers analog Barker say you can purcase a TV that has them, yet they dont support them), off the shelf, non Rogers HD boxes wont work. They send a signal to each reciever one by one telling it what it can and can not view. A QAM tuner doesnt work with the HD stations or any of the other stations, unless they are unencrypted...
