I have an Insignia 20" tube TV (IS-TV040919) with a standard DirecTV box (D10) and controller (RC 16). Nothing I do seems to work to program the remote. I've tried all Orion, Sansui, Emerson, Memorex, Sylvania, Zenith and Funai codes as recommended. I've tried the 9-1-1 thing too. I think I pressed the Channel UP button for at least 20 minutes with no results. Has anyone ever figured this one out?
