I now have two 995 both made in 2007 sept and they work great but I am disappointed that they will not talk to the Sony TV like the newer Blue Ray sony 300 does. It used to be an easy mono coax for communication with sony products but now it is thru HDMI plugs and not all sony gear is on board yet. Watching an up converted movie with the $350 mega changer is as good to my eyes on my XBR5 as the same movie in standard disk played on my 995 Mega changer. You can't tell the difference. But the machine talking to the TV is cool. NOT worth a $34.95 per disk. When they come down to $15 I will start to buy them.
