Question: Is there code that would prevent you from just running a nonlive run of unexposed romex and using a regular 120V duplex outlet at each end of the run and then make an extension cord with a male/male plug to power the outlets (from a power conditioner to the projector)? It seems that would be less dangerous than having a hot male plug exposed.
