I would first ask myself, Do I really need a partner. Do you both have the same family lifestyle. Do you need him for the money or credit ? Can he be a good business partner? Can you trust him or her with your money?

These may not be the questions or advice your looking for but they are the some of the most important factors in any business relationship.

I had a partner for 10 years and it went pretty well, the last 6 years I have been on my own and that has gone very well.
